MATCO always seek to provide its customers with premium quality rice. MATCO is the only exporter in Pakistan to establish a Rice Cultivating Monitoring Program (RCMP) The purpose behind the RCMP is to ensure that only the best quality basmati rice grown in the Punjab is used for FALAK®. In order to achieve the objectives of RCMP, MRP has established a control and research cell in Lahore from where the company representatives start their survey of the rice right from the sowing period.

Samples of soil, nursery, weeds, weather reports, irrigation condition and fumigation reports are continuously sent to the laboratory in Karachi till the crop is harvested. On the basis of this data the R&D department is able to analyze the quality of the future crop. The procurement department at MRP then procures the crop in advance. After this crop has been harvested it is sent to Karachi, where it is processed and packed at MRP State of the Art processing plant.
